Karup Å has always been an attractive fishing water - a fishing water that many anglers have seen or want to go to. It is the river's large sea trout that are attractive, and in general the catches are with a nice average weight.

The day permit is valid for the entire association's day card water. In other words - a day permit = 50 km. åbred. It could not be easier. Some stretches, however, are reserved for the members of the association.

LFSO is an association with great emphasis on the social activities, and the association's members make a great effort with the maintenance of our clubhouses and along the river with cutting reeds and laying footbridges. We also have a well-attended senior club, which meets once a month with the attendance of 50-60 members.
