Provisions for fishing in the association's waters:
- Catches of salmon (taken home or released) must be reported to the association no later than 24.00 on the same day via the association's website www.bredeaa.dk under "Catches and reporting". In case of problems with the website, it can also be reported by letter or e-mail.
- Only 1 salmon may be taken home per. person / fisherman per years, all additional salmon catches must be discarded.
- Catches of sea trout (taken home or released) must be reported to the association within 3 days via the association's website www.bredeaa.dk under "Catches and reporting".
- Only 2 trout fish may be taken home daily.
- Brook trout are protected and must be released. However, juniors may bring home brown trout above the minimum size of 30 cm.
- Undersized fish must be released.
- It is not allowed to fish with barbs and only with one hook per. line, single, double or triple hook.
- Fishing with natural bait or bait with fragrances is only allowed on hooks without barbs. However, when using bait, other hook types with barbs may be used when fishing with a single hook. The hook gap on single hooks with barbs must not exceed 6 mm measured from the hook tip and perpendicular to the hook shaft
- For Brede Å and Lobæk (A - Stykket), when Brede Å Lystfiskerforening has received information that 23 salmon over 73 cm have been brought home, all catches of salmon over 73 cm must be discarded. And when it is stated that 28 salmon of 73 cm or less have been brought home, all catches of salmon must be discarded.
- For other Brede Å water systems, upstream of Lobæk (B - Piece), it applies that when Brede Å Lystfiskerforening has received information that 4 salmon have been brought home, all catches of salmon must be discarded.
- You can only fish with 1 rod per. person. However, eel fishing with a rod can, for the individual member, take place with up to 3 rods within a distance of 6 meters.
- The use of set string, ruse and yarn is not permitted.
- Parking in the field or in the field is prohibited.
- Damage to crops, fences, etc. occurs under liability for fines and liability for damages.
- Be polite and considerate to landowners. Respect erected prohibition signs.
- The fishing license is personal and may not be handed over to others, the card must be brought when fishing in the association's waters.
- You have a duty to present catch and fishing licenses at the request of landowners, anglers and the association's supervisors.
- Dogs are not allowed during fishing.
- Bait fish that are not caught in the Brede Å system may not be used for fishing in the river, nor may shrimp or roe be used.
- The general protection period for Brede Å with adjacent watercourses is 1 November to 15 April.
Ethical guidelines for fishing with worms
- Worm fishing is allowed, but it is encouraged to follow the following guidelines in the fishery.
- From the start season until the quota for the large salmon has been fished up, worm fishing is free in the Brede Å system.
- Once you have caught a salmon on the quota, you do not fish with worms, but the fishing is transferred to fishing with artificial bait.
- When the quota for large salmon> 75 cm has been fished up, do not fish with worms west of main road 11.
