Haderis Å is the largest tributary to Karup Å and the confluence occurs at Hagebro, where the fishing right is from Staulund and to the outlet at Hagebro. Exciting brook and sea trout fishing. Try a foam beetle fished upstream, and the sea trout go crazy! Or just go on an adventure and sneak along the stream in unspoiled nature.

Approximately 2.5 kilometers long stretch south of Haderup is protected, which ensures the landscape values on both sides of the stream. The protection is located in the middle of the large flat Karup Hedeslette. By Haderis Å are blown-together dune landscapes, which are now overgrown with oak scrub.

Huge water care has been done in recent years with the closure of fish farms, the establishment of spawning banks and the re-swimming of tributaries. Upstream of the bridge at Haderup, a handicap-friendly fishing stretch has been created.
