Season: 01.03 to 31.10 Storå Storå is a 104 km long West Jutland river, Denmark's second longest. It rises 70 m above sea level at Gludsted Plantage 10 km southeast of Ikast and flows to Felsted Kog in Nissum. Storå is known for sea trout and not least salmon. Every year many salmon over 10 kg are landed. Very good fishing water from the Herning municipal border to Holstebro upstream to Nybro by Ørre. Around Hodsager and Brohus the river lies in its natural bed in a beautiful river valley. Wild brown trout, as well as sea trout and salmon are caught on the fishing water. The water also houses the protected stable. A stretch of watercourse that is not fished very much, which is probably because this is upstream of the hydroelectric power plant in Holstebro.
